Microsoft PowerPoint Web App


A) CREATE NEW DOCUMENT


1) Login to skydrive.com using outlook.com or hotmail.com credentials.

2) Create a new PowerPoint presentation.

3) A PowerPoint application page is displayed in browser window.


4) Add title and subtitle.



B) CHOOSING A THEME

5) Click Design Tab.



5.1) Click the Drop Down list to view more themes.

5.2) Select Wisp theme.


5.3) The slide is redesigned with Wisp theme.


6) Select Theme variant.

6.1) Go to variant section and choose Variant 3.


6.2) The slide is redesigned with the Variant 3 of Wisp theme.




C) ADDING SLIDES


7) Add new slide

7.1) Go to Slide navigator panel. Right-hand click and select New Slide.


7.2) Add texts to the slide.
Use Tab key to indent the texts to the right.



D) RE-SELECTING THEME


8) Theme can be re-selected at anytime.

8.1) Go to Design Tab.
Select Organic theme.



E) CONTINUE EDITING


9) Add some more texts to the slide.



F) NOTES PANEL


10) Click on the Notes button at the bottom right of the application window.
The Notes panel is displayed.
To hide the Notes panel, click the Notes button once again.


11) Add notes:

A blog writer may publish either a post or a page. In most of the cases, the blog writer publishes a post. However, the blog writer may need a static content to display his profile information. This type of content is called a page.



G) SLIDE LAYOUT


13) Add New Slide.


14) Change Layout.



15) Choose Blank.
Click Change Layout.



H) ADDING IMAGE


16) We are going to add an Internet image.

16.1) Copy the following URL, http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/4361/090056e1e6494b78b045ccf.png .


16.2) Go to Insert Tab.
Click Picture.



16.3) Paste the URL in the Upload dialog window.
Click Open.


16.4) Wait.


16.5) The image appears at the center of the slide.


16.6) Resize the image to fit the slide nicely.



I) RUNNING SLIDESHOW

17) Locate the Slideshow button at the bottom right of the application window.
Click to run slideshow.


18) Slideshow mode is displayed in the browser window.


19) Click Start Slide Show


20) The slide fills up the entire browser window.

    - Everytime a blog writer publishes a post, the newest post is usually placed on top of other posts.
    Page
    - A blog content that is static.
    - A blog writer may use a page to write his profile.
